OT- My new tractor dog

Lost my old dog a while back and it about broke my heart. Looked at this guy 3 weeks ago and thought I would never see him again because he wa spromised to someone else. Monday evening I knew that my wife and youngest son were up to something, but didn't know what until they handed me this guy. Oh well we will seee how good of a dog this one is.

The only dog I own is the little white fuzzy one. My Daughter"s husband is a Navy pilot and got an 18 mo. assignment in the U.K. and I got their two BIG dogs (the rotwieler and other big black hairy guy). My Son"s dog is the German shepard and she is 14 with cancer. He"s a corpporate pilot and on a 13 day trip so I got her too. The Irish setter...not in the pic"s belongs to my wifes niece who is up from Atlanta for a week! Then there are the two neighbors dogs that visit every AM for the big DOG PARTY at Grampa Larrys" place.
I have found it best to stand alnog side the door when I let "em out in the morning lest I get caught up in the stampede!!

He'll make a good tractor dog. With those paws he can pull you out if you get stuck.

Looks like a Black Lab to me keep away from water so you can stay dry. My half Lab can't go near water without jumping in winter or summer.

Puppy fur, puppy breath, and needle teeth. Been there, done that many times. Bring back fond memories. Good luck. We still have our yellow lab, Max, but lost our golden, Macy, in August. I've had a lot of dogs, darn good ones and some of the best, loved each and every last one. But for some reason, Macy still lingers more than the rest, and renewed fond loving memories of the rest, and I'm not ready for another. I don't know that I ever will be again.

Good luck. Take care of that guy. Puppy fur, puppy breath, needle teeth make for a great combination.
