Will a Gleaner model K combine hauling.

Transport height of a Model K is 113.3 inches. I would assume that is standard machine, standard tires, no bin extension. Base machine weight is 6965 lbs, length 200.8 inches w/o header.

This JD 95 was 13'9" after the wheels were pulled,Swamp cooler, radiator screen, lights, etc. were removed. We hauled it from Kansas to western Colorado,700 miles.

Ok thanks if it"s real close couldn"t I just let the air out of the tires instead of taking them off? I am taking the leap. I bought a good allis chalmers 72 the other day and got it home, but I have had a change of mind I want a combine that I can do beans and corn with. So if anyone wants a good 72 let me know.

Check Your e-mail. It will be close and if you do let air out block it under the axels also so it want shift.

Thinking it will. Have moved both my K and K2 on my lo-boy trailer w/o taking anything off or letting the air out of the tires. It would be like your gooseneck, ramps, 3' off the ground.

It should as we hauled E-3 gleaners and 3300-4400 Deeres on our trailer. We did let the air out of the tires on the 4400's.Let the air out equal so you do not risk rolling it off.A friend did that to a MF 510. He unscrewed the valve and walked over to the other side and started to work on that valve(It was stuck) and before he got it loose the combine went off the other side of the trailer. We would cross chain them to make sure nothing happened. We made alot of money selling small combines but we earned it having to go get them, unload and then fix up,sell and reload and deliver along with hauling all the heads.

Where are you located? Probably too far away but would be interested in the 72 if in real good shape. I've restored a 66 so I know how much can be bad.
