Got to talk to my retired friend from Nebraska again tonight when he brought his son and grandaughter up to look at TRACTORS!

PS: He's mostly Green BUT he kinda liked running the Oliver Super 88 Diesel.

Just curious...without getting too specific, where are you located? I spent some time near Altona back when I was a young pup.

He must be a real nice fellow if he is "mostly Green." I"m talking the REAL Green, not that off color of yours. LOL

Stan - kruser is on the west side of Peoria, out near the county jail. Wonder if there"s a reason for that?
I"m in Galesburg and get through Altona now and then. Have you been back lately to see the huge wind farm north of town?

PS: Worked on the Galesburg Prison back in the 80's and see that oleblu has now gotten out!
Yuk, Yuk

Kruser, I changed a LOT of tires on those telehandlers when the prison was going up. That sure was a mud hole back then.
I still change tires on the semi's out there but they are OUTSIDE the fence. I doubt they would let me in with the assortment of picks, knives, side cutters, etc that I carry on the truck. LOL
I was there Wednesday and could hear the POP POP POP from the gun range. Glad it was on the opposite side!

Thanks for the reply. Haven't been through there for 8 or 10 years, I guess. Folks I worked for (Erickson) were big in the hog business just a few years ago. Nice folks, better than I deserve, I think. I quit one morning (got mad over something trivial, I'm afraid) and packed up my car and left. We still exchange Christmas cards 55 years later, so I guess they forgave me.

In those days, they farmed 480 acres...much more now.
