2002 Impala

Dimmer switch on the impala wouldn't work. I got a new aftermarket assembly and installed it. The dimmer switch now works, but the cruise control doesn't. I can hook up the old one, the cruise works, but the dimmer portion doesn't. I'm stumped.

Sounds like they gave you the wrong switch, or a defective switch.
See if they'll exchange it but most places won't take back electrical parts.
