O/T Cider-Wine Press

That looks like a decent press and a decent price. I always used burlap bags to put the pulp in and always used 2 or 3 bags because if you only use one it will have a tendency to blow out easy. I would put a pail of pulp in #1 bag and twist the top and push it down, then use another bag right on top for the next pail. The chopper I used was homemade..it was actually a 4 inch steel drum in a wood chute with flat head machine screws in it..sharpened and being spun by a belt from a 3.5 horse engine. The pulp came out like applesauce and gave up the juice pretty easily. Brings back memories..I would make 110 gallons of hard cider lots of years...yummy!

Definitely buy the Bags..they will last quite a while..get several and have them on hand..
The grinder is what needs to be good..it should crush the pulp, to release the juice..not just cut it up..
Mine is all wood and the only limiting factor is the connecting bolts in the Bands on the Basket..too much pressure will shear a bolt..they are not much of a problem...you need to raise the pressure slowly, to allow the juice to trickle out, to get the last of it..
Crabapples, Pears and Apples together all the different types of apples mixed seem to make the best Apple Cider..
