What is going on, in my post and some others, words will be highlighted in blue, if you click on them, it takes you someplace else. Is there any way to turn this feature off?? I never noticed this before. Chris
 
Being highlighted in blue means they're a link to another page. Why they show up at random, I have no idea.

Try searching archives...or hopefully someone will reply with the cure. Somebody posted something similar awhile back, but I cannot remember what solved the problem nor handle of topic or poster.
 
Your computer is likely being Shadowed by ADWARE which is a program designed to follow your browsing around and Try to sell you things. What you need to do is go into --MY COMPUTER in windows then ADD DELETE programs and search for programs you do not recognize-- SUCH as a browser call ASK that self installed as a Shadowing program when you installed some other program. This Crap piggybacked its way into your system.

I'm not sure that the advertising trackers are causing this, but if you are using Firefox you can install a plug-in called Ghostery. It will give you the option to block or allow the ad trackers that record your surfing habits.
It also might be worthwhile to check out Adblocker Plus. It blocks ads from popping up on pages you visit.
Maybe someone else will have a better answer.
