Hi I Said this in another discussion . the problems I see are. Most of the old guys that I used to ask about this stuff and buy it are pushing daisy's. The younger guys are not interested or don't have the money/time Trying to keep the roof over there familys heads. The acreage guys are staying in town because it's cheaper on fuel to go to work and there is little return on small scale farming these days. Finally the price of parts is so crazy a set of cheap tires is worth more than most tractors when there done and the rest of the parts and machine shop stuff is added again. I used to sell diesel majors all done for $5000 last year that was $3000 and this year i stopped doing tractors, Because Im not busting my a$$ and bank balance paying guys to take them and giving parts suppliers nice holidays houses and trucks. Regards Robert |
