O/T billboard tarps

If you can keep them from whipping they will last about two years, maybe three. They are really super duty blue tarps.

I have used them for years. Always got them for free. They were glad to have someone haul them off but now folks are buying them. They have a helm stiched in them. You can insert and 1 1/2 in pipe and really hold them about anywhere. We have old green house frames covered with them and get 3 or 4 years machinery storage.

My oldest one is about 15 or 16, I don't use anything else for equipment cover... not since the fire. You can get a grommet kid from Harbor freight or a old fashioned hardware store, but in general, it takes a hurricane or tornado weather to really uncover most stuff, but to tie down on 6 spots keeps it on for the long haul. Only hole all this time is from a tree limb spearing one during Sandy last month. Patchable stuff- gets stiff as a board in winter tho...
My old source is gone, but someone just told me of a new place- free. The old place charged me a 30 pack of bud lite apiece... so I am a happy camper!

Never knew about them. I use pieces of old rubber roof. It is relatively gentle on paint and does not tend to blow away. You have to pretty much be driving by when they are pulling it off.

I bought some this summer as a cheap way to make non-see-through walls for a cattle corral. They're heavy and thick and supposed to be UV and mildew resistant. At $45 for a 14' x 48' sheet, I thought it was a pretty good deal. I might change my tune after a few years, but only time will tell on that one.
