spiced cider

I came in at dark thirty(5:30), and the house smelled so good, that I thought she was baking a pie. The wife had brought out the small crock pot, poured a gallon of apple cider in it, added cinnimon, and cloves, and heated it up. I forgot the cup of coffee that I was thinking of earlier, and got a steaming cup of the spiced cider. GREAT STUFF. I sure am glad were closing in on the hollidays! Maybe she will get egg nog next. I have a bottle of rum squirreled away!

Spiced cider is one if my favorite drinks, nothing better to warm you up in the evening.

Add a little rum or whisky and thats one of my favorite drinks. It's a nice relaxing drink.
