This photo was taken at the same time of the original Threshing on the Ridge photo posted on 10/09/2012.
We don't know who the two guys are on top of the stack. Looks like it would have been a long slide to the ground.

I remember those big stacks. We would then take a ladder and poke a big needle with a chain on it though the stack and over the top and roll a bunch of hay onto a wagon, then pitch it off to the cows. This was for bedding, but did the same with stacked hay for feed. A team (Pat & Dolly)was used. AND THEY CALL THAT THE GOOD OLD DAYS.

Don"t throw your fork overboard, and then jump off the side of the stack after it!
