A small Irish village had one cow that stopped giving milk. Distraut, the Villagers found a cow in Scotland they could purchase quite cheaply, so the bought it and shipped it over.
Everyone was quite happy with the ample amount of milk she gave.
Not wanting to ever run out of milk again, they bought a bull and put it in with the cow to start building a small herd. But the cow always refused the bull. Frustrated, they hired a new vet from a neighboring village to help them. They explained to the vet that no matter how the bull app-roached the cow, she always refused him. From the rear, she would move forward, from the front she would move back and from the side, to the oppisite side never letting him get the job done.
What do think is the problem they asked the vet. Rubbing his chin thoughtfully, the vet asked, "is the cow from Scotland?" Dumfounded, since they had not mentioned buying the cow from Scotland they said, You are truly a good vet...how did you know?
He said, "my wife is from Scotland!"
