Tractor weight question, any of these of any value??

Can you see if there is anything that you guys recognize in this pile? I bought these as a group one day, probably for too much. Should I paint up nice and sell or just sell as is? I don't know weights very good. Thanks.

I bet you'll do all right selling out the sets to people who want them as individual sets!

I'd not paint them, you'll never match the new paint on whatever tractor they go on so it's just wasted.

I think I could make some good guesses, but most of those look at least common wanted types.

See then go $50 - $100 a wheel.

I would sell as is.Usually go for about 50 cents a pound in my area.

You've got one complete set of the IH split weights. (4 pieces) Those weights will fit everything from the Farmall C up through the last tractor built by IH before it became Case-IH. The set of 4 pieces should be worth Around $100 as is.

The F&H weights will fit a lot of different makes , including JD, and we all know those JD guys have more money. The front wheel weights are probably the most valuable. Price will vary depending on location.Don't know what you paid but looks like you got a pretty good batch.

The four small red weights are from the rear of a Massey combine- I have that exact set. They have the same bolt pattern as a 560 IH wheatland, and other IH standards, probably W9, 600, etc.

Pic is my 560 with the thicker pair installed. I would be interested in those four if you were somewhere close to central IL.

Depending upon your location I would be interested in what looks like slab weights on the bottom of the stack. Can you get a part number off of them? My email should be open. Thanks.

the 2 round weights on the top of the pile (separated by the 1/2 ih rear weight) are front wheel weights for the 340-460-560 ih tractors. they are fairly scarce, usually people ask $100-125 for the pair.

The 460-560 IH front slab weights are hard to find and bring a decent price..I got lucky a few years back and bought 4 of them for $80 total..

About 10 years ago at a farm sale I bought (8) IH half rear weights for $3 each..At the same sale I bought (4) IH full round wheel weights for $6 each.

Oliverguy: Care to post your contact information? I need to speak with you on these weights. Thanks.
