Does anyone out there know if an Allis-Chamlers WD-45 engine will bolt up to a Cockshutt 30?

Sure would appreciate your help

Thanks

Interesting idea ?...Did the Cockshutt use a
Buda engine..and, was the WD45 engine of Buda
design, produced after Allis-Chalmers purchased
Buda?
The book, "Allis-Chalmers Construction Equipment"
says that LeRoi D201 and D226 were built for
LeRoi by Allis-Chalmers, and are the same as
WC, WD, cotton picker, and Road grader engines,
and my 1973 NAPA Engine Parts book shows that
those engines use the same parts. The LeRoi"s
are both 4 inch bore, I find no 4 inch bore
Buda engines.

I have been told that it is the Cockshutt 40 that used the Buda engine and not the 30 and both the AC and Cockshut engines are 6 cylinders and parts are hardly avaible, Do not know anything more but check the Cockshutt board and ask about the 40, not the 30.
