Just a few shots I took over the weekend while giving the farmer a hand . The super h runs like a top!

You're a pretty good backer upper Larry. He'da had the next wagon full before I'da got lined up with the elevator.

I really like that area you reside on the weekends, farmers still do the old school things like this, I have not seen a corn crib with corn in it around here in a very long time, my long time farmer friend used to have a cylindrical metal crib, a NH picker, think it was a 2 row now thinking about it, might be since before '95 when the fire took everything except his home. I saw the potato harvest you posted too, just great to see these kinds of things still being done like they were years ago.

Sights like these used to be common around us, remember helping a neighbor when I was a kid use our AC WD with his 2 row mounted picker. Nothing but big outfits now running huge combines flat out, doing around 100 acres in less than a day with giant buggies running grain from the combine to the semi trailer.

Thanks for the memory!

Dang Larry, You had a busy weekend! Sounds like just in time too. Wouldn't do for all those 'taters and corn to got caught in this storm.

Larry@stines,

Great photos!

Brings back memories. Wish I would have had a digital camera about 8 years ago when my husband was still farming and cribbing corn.
