Just spent this evening carving pumpkins for Halloween... I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Took two of us about 3 hours to do this:

Thanks! I never used to be too big into it when I was a kid, but once I got my hands on some pattern books and templates off the internet in 2009, this is the 4th year of doing this carvings. Lots of fun!

Thank you, everybody!

It's really not as hard to do as I ever imagined it to be. My secret is, wait until the day after Halloween and go to the big box stores and find all of their pattern books and carving kits that are like 75% off. Get a few pattern books and carving knives for under $5 and use those the following year.
