We started this field on Saturday afternoon got the end rows off all the way around and just the end rows totaled 27.3 acres

The elevator is closed today, but we are filling everthing up for the morning

This is my helper 5 minutes after we started

This is him an hour later, he doesn't drive quite straight enough to dump on the go so he lets me drive while we are doing that, then he drives back to the other end

One more hopper and the auger cart will be full.

Good job Travis,
Bet he will remember that for the rest of his life and talk about it at school tomorrow!

My daughter would last about 10 min before I could see her
nodding off while we were discing...something about a warm
cab and a rumbling engine. That was a couple years ago. She
is 8 now and asked to go out with me last weekend. I had to
change my plans but I will be sure to take her next time.
My son on the other hand is 2. He is so alert and enthralled
with the tractor...I took him on a little 3 hr brush cut ride. He
was "driving" and pointing and babbling on about it for the
entire field. I kept waiting for him to fall asleep but no luck...

My daughter is a ways off from tractor work - or cranberry
harvesting, but she is pretty good about helping out. They
grow up so quick.

My neighbor let his 13 yr old run his 1660 this year in corn. You couldn't have pryed him out of the cab with a stick of dynamite. You could see that grin from a mile away.
