Weather girly sez we"ll get cold, strong northerly winds, driving rain by Wednesday. Got the generators ready, all the gasoline I can afford. While I don"t expect a terrible storm here, I have little faith in the power company"s ability to stay on line with that forecast. That and the eastern power companies are recruiting line crews from all over to help them rebuild already - and the storm hasn"t even hit.

Yeah. You should have seen the local service station yeaterday. They did a booming business filling five gallon cans. Eight pumps, and half filling cans. Guess they need gas for their lawnmowers to mow after the storm dumps 6 inches of rain on their lawns....

With that program in it, does that mean you can use it for an umbrella?

I'm about forty miles east of Frederick just south of the Pennsyltucky line. They're forecasting 50 to 80 mph winds and 6-12 inches of rain right now. Guess we'll see. This is the third or fourth "Storm of the Century" I cna remember in recent history. Got me feeling older than chit....
