Finally done for the year.Raked, baled, and stacked the last of it this afternoon. Now it can rain...Next stop...Corn Harvest!!

Want some of the rain I've been getting for the past two weeks straight so I can get back to work?

Guess I always thought corn drydown was a function of age of the stalk, maybe slowed down by excess rain. But you're in Colorado- have you had a lot of rain? Why does your corn take so much longer to dry down than that in Iowa or Illinois, where I think they have been done for weeks?

Obviously not much field corn in western Washington (none, actually)- so I'm just trying to learn something.
