Old Tractor Commercial

The tractor must have been fairly new in that area for so many people to come and see it. Can't believe they showed someone walking becide the moving tractor, and getting back on it. Today that would be a lawsuit waiting to happen. Stan

Did Ferguson have a remote hydraulic available? How did they get that trailer to dump?

Also, don't know if Ferguson had a better mower set up than Ford, but our mower was a 5 point, with solid attachment points under the axle, as well as the other 3 points. Never saw anyone hook one up "in a matter of minutes."

The tractor driver is old Dick Dowdswell, no matter how long he lived he never grew any more hair! The Ferguson mower had complaints from farmers saying it was difficult to attach...So Ferguson trained a couple of light built girls to attach the mower in minutes and used these girls at shows to demonstrate how easy the mower was hitched up....never had another complaint!
We use nothing but tipping trailers in Britain and Ferguson was the first to put the wheels at the back to help traction...no remotes... We had a 't' bar pick up hitch on the 3 point to stop the lift reaching it's full stroke so the pressure escaped through a steel pipe to the trailer ram, Lift the 3 point and the trailer tips lower it and the trailer drops.
