Case 1570 Value

Does this tractor have any more value to a collector than the commercial market? It's a Case 1570, 1976, with 5176 original hours. My father in law owns it and he takes perfect care of all of his equipment. Sheet metal is straight, everything works including the A/C. Seat has no tears, etc... It's all original too. We're looking to sell it and it should sell quickly to a hay grower, but maybe there's more value to a collector. Could someone please advise?

Hey Chris, I don't know about Case tractors or their value. I am Ron Berry and my youngest brother is named Chris.I am sure that some one here can help you. Feeling a family connection I just wanted to warn you that Mike(WA) has been known to post directions on how to get rid of Berry's. Thought You should know...:)

Chris,
Join us over on the Case Forum with your question as to worth. Your location, sn#, and pics. would narrow down what you could expect to sell it for. The 15s are very desirable tractors.

Chris you might want to post it on the Case forum here too may be some one looking for one in that nice condition and be willing to give a better price cnt

Its good that you posted, Ron- reminds me that fall is the BEST time to apply the "Skull and Crossbones" Berry Eradication Program (cut vine, dip in Roundup, Mother Monsanto does the rest).

Except in the interim, we have acquired some goats, so now we just let them eat 'em. We feel better about it, but not sure about it from the Berry perspective. . .

Berry's for the most part like to be helpful whenever they can. Whether it's being nutrition for a goat or fertilizer for the pasture we try to do what we can..:)

All seriousness aside I am sorry I could not get a response From Chris but I always enjoy and appreciate your sense of humor. Sometimes I think a lot of the posters on here have had
theirs surgically removed.

Thanks for responding. I looked up the serial number and it turns out to be a 1978 model year. SN is 8830665. We're located in south east Idaho.
