How many suffer from asthma?I do,lifetime.I have some OTC medication that works pretty well,not perfect,but it helps.3 nights ago I wound up in the ER,blood oxygen was 75(should be 90+).I ran out of meds 2 weeks ago,the OTC stuff is no longer available.I shoveled out a grain bin in the morning,cut hay in the after noon,was wheezy all day.I guess I am going to have start seeing a MD on a 'regular' basis. :( kinda strange/wierd,etc., a farmer with asthma.I love the farm too much to quit...
 
I usually avoid the dusty situations.That time,well....Within 10 min my BO was back to 95+(room air)
 
Our daughter used to have Asthma real bad. Wife got it all cleared up (took time) with a daily regime of local honey (comb is best) reshi mushroom and about a half dozen almonds or 3 Brazil nuts (everyday) We also removed all the caperting from the house.

My sister went to a wellness clinic in dallas for an asthma treatment and died a few days later under there treatment.Never did find out what actually happened.
 

I was diagnosed with acute chronic asthma at the age of 34. Had it since. My capacity is getting lower now. Have to rest a little while hand cranking some of the tractors. Hot humid days are the worst for me.

I have horrible asthma and allergies, I take dulera (inhaler), flonase (nasal stuff) and allegra daily plus I have a "rescue inhaler" albueteral. Did a test to see if they could use the shots on me and turns out I'm so allergic to the histamine that the body produces to fight off allergies that I couldn't have shots. Doc told me I should find other work. But I'm stubborn, just hafta be careful, specially around ragweed.
