I wonder about Worthingtons. Are they really a tractor? Or what we used to call 'doodlebugs?'
Someone's engine, someone else's tranny and diff... some angle iron.... I guess they were a mowing machine company that wanted their own power to sell as a set. And they did it well!

So where are the Allis WC's????

Worthington was an "Assembeled" tractor, but so
were lots of others..Lehr Big boy, Custom, Wards
Early Co-op"s,(before Cockshutt), Huber..with
Chrysler Industrial 6 cyl..the list could go on and on.

How about the 4 digit Olivers, that were made when White was the parent company? I think we need more green!!

i like that radiator screen on the wallis, more surface area and cuts a path through the wind when flying down the road.

I love that 3rd pic, spring plowing, least it looks like a plow,
or maybe fall, bundled up and that "Heater cab" on the old
Oliver, that's a great pic! Thanks. JayinNY

That was fall plowing a number of years ago when we first got the 1855 and the plow(546 4-16 plow, with I think a Midwest brand harrow on it) . Picked up the 1855 in April, the plow in June or July, and then I bought the weather break that fall.

It gets really hot if it's anywhere above freezing. Otherwise a pretty cozy ride.
