It was so hot today about 2 PM I gave up and came in for several hours. Record temperature today of 104. Not just a record for the day, but the highest temp on record for the month of October. We have a cool front trying to work it"s way in and here came the lightning, thunder, rain, hail and a few tornado warnings. No damages here, but still getting some rain. Storm heading into Mexico. The illegals are probably flocking in as I write this, they love to take advantage of lousy weather because the officials are busy with other stuff. Simply amazing. Tomorrow the high is supposed to be 89, may have to wear a jacket!

| I had no idea what the temps would be in your area for this time of year, but 104 does sound like a bit much. I noticed on the forecast you posted, your lows at night are around 70 or a tad above, here in central NC our average HIGH for this time of year is 70, which it has been for the last two days and I'm spending all the time that I can outside.
