Parts are around. Jacobsen made them for Ford and Minneapolis Moline. We have 3 Jacobsens now. Do a search on ebay and on the net for Jacobsen Chief 1000. Should be the same as your Ford except for the emblem.

Pardon me for changing the subject but does anyone know where they can get parts for the Ford LGT 100. I had a customer give me one in terrible condition and I would like to get it working.

Located in Hastings Nebraska. Just not sure what their worth. Would like it to have a mowing deck and possibly a snowblower but not a deal breaker.

I own a LGT100-I think a 72 model. While mine is not for sale I"ve seen several come up for sale on Craigslist over the past 6-8 months.I"m in the Minneapolis area. There is a user group of Ford garden tractor enthusiasts on Yahoo and they may know of one for sale. Hope this helps.
