Dave , read your post looking for a strob for your tractor and got to thinking . I realise that it is the norm to use a tractor like yours to run around doing chores , just wandering why pickups have not cought on over there ? For the foot get some ice put half in a glass with some whiskey and drink , then put the other half of the ice in the glass withe some whiskey and drink , now you should be able to get along without any ice .

8+ buck a gallon fuel I guess........... There are pickups enough, just not the fullsize ones. Unless it's a wannabee cowboy with more money than sense..... I had a 91 F250 4wd but it just wasn't worth the fuel it used.....

even at the 4+ bucks I was paying..... Tax is another thing because vehicles are taxed by weight and loopholes are few...

Just took a couple aspirins and have the foot up... It'll be OK tomorrow....

I got some nice homemade sippin stuff from the neighbor. I'll take a slug or two of that before I go to bed...

Quoting Removed, click Modern View to see

Did they do away with some of the vehicle tax being based on engine size? I know they did that for a while.

don't hold me to it, but I think that is on cars..... If I had to put a black license (non ag) plate on the tractor, I'd have to pay full price on fuel and tax based on weight.......
