Well ,the wood is split and stacked and carried to both houses(daughters and ours)so now it onto doing leaves, bracing tractor shed, tarping till later. Son cut both 10 cords and used the splitter and drove the ole 75 ford 1 ton w/lift to dump the wood.Wife canned more veg soup with beef. About the 3.1/2 lb sweet patoes, sure taste great. waiting for them to sweeten up is a bunch of hooey. She caned a bunch of them . I never did like em ,cause I could taste the can (supermarket brands) so I never ate em for years. SO Now , OH Boy. Load up mu dish. LOL.
Still got to winterize equipment, change gas in the generator, dozer. Gonna use the old in the lawn tractor and yard vacuum, waste not want not. Bet Jde is working on his winter supply of wood. Loved his pictures of this event. Smart man. Any way this is where were at at this time of year, NO SNOW YET!! Thank Goodness. Keep warm and healthy. Regards LOU.
