O.T. Home from Surgery

Got home from the hospital today. Surgery went well and the turmor on my kidney was removed and the surgeon was able to save the Kidney.
Just want to thank all of you for your prayers and concerns. Got some pretty good pain going on,.but considering everything I feel pretty good.
Time to kick back and take it easy for the next 4-6 weeks. Get my staples out next Thursday.

Get well soon. Now you know what those tractors feel like when you are in there digging at things. Sure hope they put all the parts back in. Ha Ha
 
Take it easy and follow the Doctors instructions. I jumped the gun a little, and think it slowed my healing.

Three years ago lost the left kidney with a tumor. Someone had an oops while in surgery. They had to cut the artery carrying blood to the kidney and ended cutting the mesentary(spelling) artery as well. At that point they had to cut an opening big enough to go in and find the other end of the artery so they could reconnect it. To get a big enough hole they removed one of the floating ribs. My 2 hr. surgery ended up being 8 hr. Had lots of pain at first but healed up quickly, just do as others and doctors say and don't over do it. rushing to get back to doing too many things will just slow you down more.
