Nice pics and nice ole Ollies! This one was our "big" tractor in the '60,s until we got a JD 620. Spent a lot of hours on her back then.

This last one is for rrlund. I know you like these hotrod Olivers. This one was fun for a couple years but it cost lots of $$$$ to be competitive. I bailed out before it became to overwelming. Still got it but hasen't run in 10 years.

They are awesome. Especially love this old one on full steel. But husband said we have to keep it at the 4 old collector tractors we already have. He is frugal and it is a good thing...I guess.

I did get to see that old 60 running at a threshing show this summer though! So maybe I'll see her again some day. :)

1946 Oliver 60.Was purchaced as a 'starter'tractor
for our son when he was 10yrs.We pd $100 for it,some
a**hole stole the carb be fore we got it home. The
replacement carb was almost $300!The air cleaner
cover is a stainless steel sause pan,the exahust
pipe is a chunck of 2" electrical conduit. It has the
COOLEST sound! The only non IH on the place. This
one's a lot of fun.It doesn't do much work
anymore. It goes to tractor pulls occationally, does
pretty well,too.

Now,the rarest of the rare. More elusive and legendary than the Essex Tri Directional. The Olivers that even some hard core Oliver guys say don't exist, but here's the photographic proof.
The Cummins powered 8160 and Ollie Schaefer's 880 FWA.

OK,hope I get them in the right order.
Here's the wifes 1957 Oliver Super 55 that I got for her for our anniversary this year.

The 66 was Dads second one. We completely wore the first one right out. Sold it to the boneyard for a parts donor. This one was rough. He bought it to restore but his health was fading, and it was going to be a lot of work. I bought it from him and finished it. I paraded it a few times so he got to see it before he had a stroke.

I've got a 70 sitting back in the corner of the toolshed,it runs, but it's kinda rough. I don't have any pictures of it,but I have some of the second one that they had here on the place. That's Uncle Earl driving it. The other picture is Grandpa standing on the tongue of the spreader.

The 77 is my second one. I bought the first one in 1969. Drove it home 150 miles from Archbold Ohio. That one became a parts donor too. I use the one in the picture on the silage cart 7 days a week,365 days a year.

The 1550 was my first 4 digit. I traded a Super 55 in on it and have kicked myself every since. Wish I'd have paid full price and kept the 55 too.

The 1600 pushing silage. I traded a 3010 Deere even money for that one 12 years ago and have been doing the happy dance every day over that trade. No comparison between those two tractors. The Oliver wins six ways from Sunday.

The 1850 diesel. It ties with the 77 for my favorite tractor ever. I'm second owner of that one. It still has the original dealer decals on the side of the hood and back of the fender from Phillips Implement in St Johns Michigan.

And finally, the 7300 gas combine. I use it every year to cut oats.
