Possibly kids. I member when I was a kid a buddy of mine use to catch fish and then put a lit firecracker in its mouth and throw it back in the water. Stupid stuff that stupid kids do. Another buddy shot a cat just for kicks.

Best cure for that is catch 'em in the act, and do unto them as they did to a defenseless animal. Wouldn't make me feel one bit guilty.

Not the same, but it was on the news tonight in sothwestern Michigan about the guy who was using a propane torch to burn the hair off a squirrel he had killed(season is open now) on his balcony. Seems the squirrel caught fire and ended up burning down an apartment complex. Guy claimed he was burning off the hair before cooking the sqruirrel. Bet that one would taste good!!

Prolly some kids that were raised by folks like some of the clowns hangin around here boastin about gut shootin wild hogs.......

Usually about every year this time in the northern part of Germany (some pretty wide open pastures), folks will find a few horses with their bellies slit open.... No tellin what gets into folks' heads....

Hate them all you want, I'm sure they do plenty of damage, just shoot em in the head. We've got them here also, really bad around berlin to the point that they go in the city and get into garbage. Don't see anyone gut shooting them tho... When they get real bad, the cops just walk in amongst them and start killing them (with head shots)..... Not a lot of point in making any animal suffer.........

Then you (or anybody else with that attitude) shouldn't own a weapon or be allowed a hunting license... Just my opinion.....

That is just plain sick, that's one thing I can't stand is animal abuse., it's a animal in captivity, on a farm ect, that depends on people to care for them. They are pretty much defenseless against man. Sadly, I guess it just dosent bother some people to abuse animals. All I can say is god bless there soul.???

There used to be a local guy around who would find one of his cattle mutilated every so often. They would be cut up and some of the organs removed. The only theory was it was some kinda devil worshipers or cult. He finally ended up selling his herd and retired. Said he was afraid of what would happen if him or his wife would stumble onto it while it was happening. It wasn't worth it he was wanting to retire soon anyway.

Too bad the owners didn't have a camera to get a shot of, or at, the perps.

That is just plain sick! That is one thing I will never tolerate is animal abuse. I always said, if you can't take care of an animal, give it to someone who will take care of it. I hope the people who did this are found and get the same treatment back. I treat my cattle better than some people treat their kids.

There are a lot of SICK people around. Young people who abuse animals usually grow up to abuse people.
