I converted my stove to propane a while back and everything works, but the oven burner "soots" up after a while and smokes the house up when I use the oven. Cannot get all the orange out of the flame. Any ideas what I can do to stop this problem? Thanks in advance for any help. doorman |

| I did that to our oven too. There should be a sliding vent somewhere where on the burner so you can adjust the air. On mine it is near the rear of the stove, one for each burner in the oven. Ours has a burner below and one on top. Just loosen the screw and use trial and error to get it right. Going to have to switch ours back this week because we are moving to a house with nat. gas. |

| If the flame is too high you have the wrong orifice. If it is too orange it needs more air , needs adjusting. Call your propane company , they are usually willing to help , sometimes for free. |

| The oven orifice was probably missed when converting the stove. I agree with Ted Jim |
