Been draining old gas out of old farm equipment and a pick-up tank (bought that way) and don't know what might be a good use for it other than burning it which I don't want to do... any suggestions??
Thanks, Ralph in OK.

Stir up the fire ant hills and give them a drink. The next day give the survivors another swig. The hills get smaller each day. :) TDF

Gasoline fumes spread far and fast, especially downhill. Too dangerous to use on brush pile. You may be in a fireball when you ignite it.
I use old gas up to 10% added to Diesel fuel in my tractor. Works fine.

Quoting Removed, click Modern View to see

I did that ONCE. I'll never do it again! Had to remove the carburetor and do a thorough cleaning.

If it's clean, dump it in the most used vehicle you have, and burn it up, for what it is intended. I dump any I get into my mazda b-2300 pickup. No problems!

Have not had that problem too much in the last few years but I use to cut old gas with new, about 4 gallons of new to one of old and run it in my older stuff, M, 8N ect till it was gone. Never had more than about 5 gallons of old stuff. I do the same thing with my mixed gas. Run it through the tractors.

When I use gasoline to clean parts in a drp pan, I just set the pan out of the way outside and it all evaporates. I relize I'm talking smaller amounts. gobble

As others have said, cut it with trans fluid/oil/gear lube. Great for starting brush piles and keeping fence rows clean.

Not saying I have ever done that...

Or leave it in a 5 gallon can in the back of your truck at a shopping center, someone is bound to take it for you.

I mix it with old engine oil/gear oil and use it to start brush pile fires. The oil helps prevent the gasoline from running off and evaporating too quickly and, of course, makes ignition easy.

I use it in my parts cleaner tank, but did learn not to use the switch in it to turn off thew pump because even with the lid down the spark at the switch will in fact cause the gas to ignite in the parts cleaner tank and then you have fun putting it out again. Now days I unplug it from the wall LOL
