Been covering the tomatoes for the last few nights- with the long summer (we've had .03 inches of rain in the last 75 days, none since August), still getting lots of good tomatoes. Rest of the garden is pretty well done, except for carrots to dig over the winter, and chard, which still produces until a hard frost. Been cutting 3 or 4 corn stalks for the goats each day, fun to watch them "tie into them" with gusto. They'll eat everything but the tassel. [Reply]  [No Email]
