Wireless inernet

O.T. AT&T Uverse e-net.. OK this was discussed the other night but curently have wild blue and have not upgraded to their new Exceed. Cost there is roughly 50 bucks month and I never seem to exceed service limits. Not bad but do have ocasional outages by weather. Now we are on a remot hill and have excellent at&t wireless siginal. Looking a u-verse with 250 GB of data a month for the same price. My question is will I exceed 250gb. Do not do movies, or games. Mostely on this site and e-mail..Anybody have the at&t uverse, package I am looking at is called Max turbo..

We just got wildblue & exede and loose service frequently. Lost service yesterday for 24 hours. When it work it's great, when it doesn't, PITA

We have Wildblue here also, no real weather problems. I notice the time of day affects the speed of it more than the weather, I imagine this is because there are more people using it at certain times of the day. I can upload a picture in 30 seconds sometimes, but most of the time it is more like 5 to 7 minutes or longer. My only real complaint is when our receiver and dish were broken in a hail storm it took 6 weeks to get them out here to fix it. If there were another reliable option here that month they would have had my business that day!
We have looked at and tried out a Verizon hot spot that worked as good as or better than Wild Blue. I imagine the AT&T would be comparable.

if you dont max out on wild blow you got it made with tons of room to spare...i think it was 7.5 gig when i had wb.

Depends on location and service available. We have good wireless internet service to our PC with a Verizon mobile broadband tablet. Tablet cost around $200. Monthly charge is $30. Tablet is portable, Has GPS, Will serve 5 laptops,Has camera. Battery can be charged w/12V or 110V. Only downside I see is tablet must be near computer for internet service. Soo much better than ATT dial which was all that was available before.

Thanks for all the replies.. I am in a remot location so either satlite or wireless. I am trying to con at&t to let me try it but doubt that is going to happen. Really hate to comit to a year contract on anything but am leaning that way.

I have WB Excede and will never renew it. Goes out about every other day if only for a few minutes. My longest up time so far is 4 days. They say it's my end, I say it's them since they can't look up my account do to an "internal upgrade" when I call.
