These <a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/JamesLHowell?feature=mhsn">tractors are used for various jobs</a> here on the farm in NE Texas.

This is our JD 1936 B. Second tractor my husband ever bought - he still lived at home then. When he dragged it home...his dad "ach-ach'd" it big time. FIL asked my husband, "What the HAIL you plannin' to do with that hunk-a-junk? But husband got it running and his dad, who was wearing leather gloves, tried to shut it down by grabbing the flywheel and applying pressure... she keep on running and friction heated up his gloves real good. :) We have taken her to many parades and threshing/plow shows over the years.

The next is our JD 4020 (I think it is a ’69). Our only so called "big" tractor. Bought that one after we were married and had purchased our farm. She is not pretty to look at anymore - but is well maintained mechanically speaking.

Last is my husband plowing with our '36 B when we were first married - before he put it on rubber. She still had a crinkled hood back then.

Both have been good tractors over the years.

JD 8020 - I do not know the year. Only one of these I have ever seen. We see it at local plow shows and threshing shows. Reminds me of some type of dinosaur with the plow up in the air like a giant tail.

Looks like he lined the stack up with the steam tractor behind it. I had to take a second look at that photo too. [ pertains to Phil in mi photo ]

Not mine, see it at the Shelby Iowa show most years! Heard said he saw the mast sticking out of a fence row, went to check it out! Supposed to be beyond rare!

Jeep should count, since they had a hydraulic lift 3pt. hitch conversion. Interesting set up, but they were somewhat lacking in the traction dept.

my dad had a 420 jd thats my brother sitting on it , my brother is now 60 years old, dad traded the 420 in for the 2010 he is sitting on in the second picture,he was sorry he did that, the 2010 was the worst tractor he ever had
