Around Grand Rapids, Michigan, bales are around $3.00 from farmer. Stores are around $6.00. Have seen CL ads for $2.00 north of me.

Whatever they'll pay for it. Some places are $3 in bulk. Most places are $5-6 per bale, $7 at the local stores.

I buy 1 or 2 bales per week, from a neighbor that has a trailer set up with a cash box, on the honor system, $2.50.

I have 1200 small square bales of 2012 wheat straw certified weed free by the state of KS in a barn and they are for sale at $4.00 each. I will help load a pickup or a semi flatbed. Could even help load an enclosed trailer if that is what you have. Located near Salina KS.

Local store has (guessing) about 8inch by 12 inch by 16 inch bales of straw for just under 8 bucks a bale in their home decorating department.

Friend wanted 20 bales, I asked if $2 was troo much each, he paid me $2.50.

Guess a person needs around that to cover the nutrient lose from baling them off the ground, tho in my case I have cover crops under so am regrowing some organic matter, not losing too much from my peat soils....

Anywhere from 2 bucks to 5.50...... with weights ranging from 15 # to 60#.
The price range generally corresponds to the weight.

Around here 3.50$ is tops for 50-60 lb bales. If you head up to Grand Falls area its 2$ tops for the same bale.

Why bale it for that? Or is that left on the field? I'm at 3.50 myself. Might be 4.00 before spring.

east central mn neighbor has been trying to get $3 for solid bales and I don't think he has sold very many so far. I have 5x5 rounds of nice straw advertised for $30 and haven't received one call. Any less and I'll just keep them for my own uses.

Just baled 150 nice 3ft barley straw bales and paid 50 cents a piece for them...

Then, a neighbor came and asked why I paid for it and gave me enough for 10 4x5 round bales. Cost me 6 bucks each to roll them.....
