help identifying tractor

I have an old red and grey tractor that came with a small farm I recently bought in Texas. I think it's a M-F but it's been repainted and all of the nameplates are missing. There is a label on the left side of the block that says "Continental Motor, Racine, Wisconsin" and a serial number (I presume) of "7134648929". Cast into the left side of the block is "7134A500P". Cast into the right side of the tranny is "MHF 181402M1". It's a 4 cylinder gas, 12V. If anyone can help me identify it, I'd appreciate it.

Probably a MF with a Continental. A picture would help.
Might also be some identifying numbers on the back axle.

Those are Massey Ferguson part #'s. (casting #'s) The Continental 4-cylinders were used in To series, 30's, 35's, 50's. 135's, 150's 165's ect....

Describe transmission; (ie 4 speed, 3X2 speed, 4X2 speed, does it have multipower?)

Describe grill/hood;

Cu In of engine; (should be on engine data plate) Z129. Z134. Z145, ect

Serial # of tractor (should be on data plate on dash)

With MHF on the transmission, it will be made 1958 or earlier as that stands for Massey Harris Ferguson. Probably a 30 or 35

I would bet that the '7' in your engine number '7134A500P' is actually a 'Z' which means you have the Continental Z134 engine. You probably have either a TO35/MF35 or MH50/MF50. Is your font axle straight across with no radius rods, or is it swept back with radius rods? I would second the request for a picture to help identify.

Thanks, BIG RUH. A M-F 30 or 35 seems to be the consensus. The plate on the dash has about 50 coats of grey enamel, so I can't read it yet to get more info.

The data plate on the dash has so much paint oon it I can't read it. I believe the tranny is 4 spd with H-S-L ranges. I've attached a picture of the grill. Thanks for the help.

There isn't a data plate- it should be stamped on near the steering wheel. You may have to take some paint off to read it.
