Having problems getting points form my farmall super a, tag says prestolite on the distributer?
All the point sets I find are two piece, the ones in the distrbuter are a one piece unit?
I"m new to the tractor work so amy help would be appreciated

Go to Car Quest or NAPA with the dist # and the old points. Find the old guy behind the counter. They should have a buyers guide to compare. Chances are they will have to order them.

I"ve got an old NAPA catalog, with listings for
"International Farm Tractors", for Prestolite
contact sets, but it doesn"t give tractor models.
(NAPA # CS 729A, Heavy Duty Contact Set,(1-47V),
(IBP-2040LA)

I have run into that more then once. Take the old points with you to a GOOD auto parts store and have them match them up and I bet if the guy is worth half his salt he will be able to do it. The good auto parts stores still have books made of paper that show pictures
