Opened an empty ring box 20 minutes before the wedding........ Old bat married me anyway....... Guess I'll keep her around
Rings were in the box, shoved in the toe of a shoe and in the bottom of a packed duffel bag at a motel in Nashville. All had been unpacked and put back together unnoticeable until I was getting dressed and opened the box the next day...... guess they'd done it before........

Congratulations! She must be a very tolerant Woman.I have often wondered what language you speak to one another. We are getting ready to celebrate 15 years of marriage and have been squirreling away money to go somewhere special but I think that trip will be put on hold as she has broken Her leg. Hope yall have a great day.

She speaks better English than I do isn't teacher material so it's English when it's just us or around Americans (or Brits) and German when around Germans....
I get by good enough with German and everyone but the old bat says I'm good, but she picks on pronunciation to the point just before I choke her....
Bein hard of hearing and ringing ears don't help much in "picking up" a language....

Congratulations to both of you on your 15th wedding anniversary.

Hope y'all enjoy many more happy anniversaries to come.

Happy anniversary ! Wife and I are celebrating 12 years today.
A milestone if you ask me considering the generation were
from I'm 30 she's 36. If you make it to 5 in our generation it's
something to brag about. But we're different we are realistic in
how life works and compromise with each other. Others our
age think that life is supposed to be perfect its my way or the
highway. Well we all know better than that on this board.

Dave what did you do????? [b:6eb06c8e41][u:6eb06c8e41]15 to life[/u:6eb06c8e41][/b:6eb06c8e41].................

Congratulations on 15 years! My first wife and I got to 14-1/2 years before she died from a heart attack. Current wife and I just celebrated 18 years last month. I told the current wife going into this marriage that if she ever gets dissatisfied, at 40 years we can renegotiate...of course, by then she'll be 72 and I'll be almost 80, so maybe I won't look so bad then, when compared to the "competition"...

This is how it's supposed to be.

Rent a wheelchair and load her up for a trip to the beach or mountains or whatever floats your boat and enjoy the day..........

Couldn't have asked for a better day for us.......Beautiful weather and things just fell together... Plan was separate the last two foals from their mothers this morning, watch how things go til about noon, then go to place not far away for a few hours of walking and being lazy, then dinner and home..........

Separating mares and foals went so well it was scary...... finished so fast we had breakfast at home instead of grabbing something on the way......
Headed to the place we wanted to hang out, took a wrong turn and made a big loop in some beautiful country that I never dreamed was that close to us (20 miles)...... Took about a gazillion pics, had a good dinner, and came home to find all doing fine (moms and babies)..... We both go back to work tomorrow after a month of vacation tho

Great memories......Our memories are that I was almost late to my wedding.I had forgotten her boquet at home and had to go back home.Got to the church 5 minute till.Best buddy had his foot on the floor with his 6.2 diesel all the way.Fortunately my soon to be wife didnt know about it until later. 28 years and counting......Happy anniversary. :D
