Building Fence

I'm in the process of putting up a fence to keep the dogs off the road when running beagles. Maybe I should say it's to keep the rabbits from crossing the road so the dogs don't follow. My plan is to run two or three strands of high tensile and then attach chicken wire or 2 x 4 wire fence with J-clips or hog rings to each strand. I have one corner brace done. Total length will be about 650 feet with at least one gate for tractor entrance. Some of the ground slopes just a little. How many strainers would you install and where. I figured one on each wire at each corner. Would you start a new fence section at changes in elevation?

I have built a lot of fence over the years, and just finished 18,000 feet of this fence to keep Alpacas and Dogs in, and everything else out. About $3.50 a foot with labor. Very little up keep.

Dave;

Looks very nice. That's kind of what I have in mind, only much, much shorter length. Beautiful country.

The dogs and the bunnies can sneak under it unless you hog ring the chicken to a taut high tensile anchored to the ground at the ground.
