looking good..thanks for posting pictures of antique equipment working ..around here we harvest corn with 540hp John Deere combines with 18 row draper heads....Kent

Are you sure those last ones aren't mine? I pick with my 1850 and New Idea 325. I hauled it out this afternoon when I put the chopper away. I think I might as well get started next week.

my manual says NI 324 is for 36-44" rows, snapping rolls on 40" centers. 325 is for 28-36", 32" centers.

Like the New Idea setup. Never cared for mounted pickers. I would rather be in front of the dust, & debris!
