Just one more truck-load of seed to run thru 'er and I'll be done. Should be half way by 10 am.

I'd guess the hard part of that chore is missing all those trees in that field. Good luck, hope you get some rain to make all that fun worthwhile.

That is still one of my favorite jobs, but I like it a whole bunch better, when you have 5 drills tied together.

Makes me feel silly using my little 13x7 510 drill. Not much wheat planted around here, maybe 3-5% of the acreage.

Allen, how many acres can you sow between refills? THe hitch on your drill appears homemade. What's the story on that?

I'm with you. We had 42' of drill @ 5mph. Lots of fun until the hitch broke. Lots of hyd hose repair, and getting that end drill back in place.

I'll bet there's no bunnies out there, but plenty of jackrabbits.
