I am in need of tires for my drill and my local dealer quoted me 136 for a Bkt brand tire. Are they any good? I know most are made overseas now and weather check right away.

I just replaced the tires on my drill with a couple of cases from the local tire dealer of a similiar size. Cost was about $20 for both.

I need 7.50-20 tires. Having trouble finding used ones. Any idea? Have called tire places, no one has them used. Know any equipment dealers that would have them?

Call that place that sells those foam filled, used aircraft tires. Don't remember what their name is but they advertise in equipment magazines all the time. Should be able to find them on the internet.

dont know about implement tires but the two sets I have bought for my garden tractors are going on two years old.so far very impressed. Bill

Find a place that has trucks. Or truck tires. Put a set of 9.00x20's on. They'll last a long time. They work great on my spreader. Not good enuf for DOT, but a lot of miles left in them.

Do you realize the difference in size on those. Probamly not enough sidewall clearance in that size or possibly for height with possibly something over them on drill frame and then you would have to be able to set the drill an inch and a half deeper to get same setting as he is running now and drill may not do that much. And then the extra diameter would make it sow light. A spreader would not have those considerations.

(quoted from post at 00:03:13 09/15/12) Bkt brand tire. Are they any good?

I consider them a "top shelf" Asian import(made in India). I am running a few sets of tractor rears, No issue and I would buy them again if the price was right.

Have 2 sets with rims, air filled, use them as "running tires" bringing AC All-Crops back (pulling behind the pick-up), going 25mph or less and to "float" (make it roll)old equipment to load onto GN trailer. Love them. Picked one set up in N. Houston, the other in Anniston, AL (combined with private trips). Their recent add in tractor house said they will carry HD rear tractor tires as well, but nothing on their site yet. Supposed to be up in a few days, I was told on the phone....
Ralph in OK.

Look for a truck boneyard, old military 2 1/2 ton trucks and 1 1/2 ton trailers ran 7.50x20 tires, and the old military tires last about forever, I have some on my dodge from the korean war era.
