Farmer killed

Just heard a little while ago that a farmer was on road on his tractor and hit by a Ford pickup. Farmer was killed.
My wife and I went to college with him in the early 70's and I did practice teaching under his dad who was the ag instructor at the high school near Starr, SC.
Will give more details when I get them.

Sad to hear...

Hard to believe that people run into the back of Huge Garbage Trucks and Semis...
Some people cannot even see a TRAIN..!!

What can we DO..(besides carry a large Gun)..??

so, the way I read the story, 1 driver slowed down thinking a tractor was going to pull into the road, which it did not, which then caused another truck to swerve and hit the tractor. Unbelievable. Is that what the word 'overly-cautious' means?

Both of the vehicle drivers appear to have been at fault. The driver of the vehicle who slowed down and pulled into the middle of the road initiated the accident chain. But the other driver, who struck the tractor, should have realized there was a reason the first driver was acting like an idiot and slowed down instead of trying to pass him.
