Im headed to the Norman Station Indiana semi annual Bluegrass Festival wooooooo hooooooooo Yall come on downnnnnnnnnnnnnn

We circle the RV's,,,,,,,Throw out the awnings,,,,,,,and anytime a body comes out n starts pickin on an old banjo or mandolin or guitar etc HERE THEY ALL COME for a Jam Session

For over 20 years Ive done the antique tractor show circuit and plan to continue buttttttttt I believe Ima gettin to where I enjoy bluegarss festivals even more, since despite my age Im a beginning banjo picker GEE ITS FUN

I didnt know you where a picker John. Im not much on the bluegrass but I play some clawhammer old time stuff. Those festivals are really a great place to learn a few tricks. In my experience theyre also a great place to realize Im not nearly as good as I thought I was. My Grandmother drug me kickin and screamin to them every chance she got. I sometimes wonder who all Ive seen and not realized who they where back then. If you ever get out to Tn/ Va we have tons of those festivals. This weekend is the Rhythm and Roots festival in Bristol. Not to mention theres always something goin on at the Carter Fold. Hope you have a safe fun trip, Dave
 
That sounds like a lot of fun. I am going to go to Winfield in the morning to the Walnut Valley Festival, just going down to spend the day as the wife doesn"t feel well enough to go. been like 16 or 17 yrs in a row now for me and this will be the 41 year of the fest. I always go down there on the 3rd weekend in Aug as well but that"s for the K & O show put on by the steam threshers assc I believe. great place to be.

I might want to change hobbies too if I couldn't get a simple little John Deere B to start to take it to the show. Maybe I can send one of my girls up to fix it for you. hahaha.
