I really enjoy those pictures. How many acres did you chop total? ARe you filling the upright silos? 'Looks like you had quite a ways to haul some of it. Thw silage wagons take a beating when that happens. Will you sow a cover crop on those acres now?
 
We'll chop some 200 acres, fill 2-40x20's, 1-24x70, 1-20x70, 1-20x80, and a 100x50x12 bunk. The ground is in continuous no-till corn, gets manure, will get a cover that is chopped in the spring and is planted in 15" rows at 34,000 population. Some of the fields are about a two to three mile run, but most are within about a mile or less. By the way, there is a state program that pays for the cover crop program- in some cases up to $100 per acre.
