David Brown 990 steering

Anyone know what type of fluid the power steering on a David Brown 990 takes. Thanks

Any light oil will work acceptably.

Dextron ATF is a good choice, as it help identify where a leak may be coming from(red color).

10W/ ISO 32 hydraulic is fine too, and by the book "Correct".

hy-tran would probably do too if you have it on hand.

I have used 15W-40 motor oil when I had an engine cross contamination issue, and not enough time to fix it. It is too thick but works in warm weather.
