What was this oil can holder originally from? Husband thought maybe it was from a picker or something.
We bought it from a scrapper who had purchased the F20 it was mounted on (Millville auction). We got the holder, plus a nice castle nut for our pulley wheel for $5. We are thinking that the holder is NOT factory for a tractor, but we just thought it looked cool on the F20 it was on - so we will put this holder on our Regular. Also got a nice rusty oil can to set in it.
*Bummer alert...
There was a factory double foot brake unit and a very nice, and complete radiator shutter system on the F20 that was getting scrapped - but husband did not have the tools needed to remove them!! The guy had told us to take off whatever we wanted - then just find him and pay him. The same man also bought some other tractors and more F20's... all going to scrap. One had rear cast centers, another had a nice set of front steel with beautiful skid-rims. Bummed us out, be we did not have the tools along needed to rescue them and were a long way from home.
