Ok I have a Question I have a DC4 I don't have the SS numbers someone removed them. This tractor has 15in front tires on front. The rims are solid CAST iron With 3 bolts ataching them to spindles. It does have a foot clutch live power take off and a remote hyd. Casenutty this is the same tractor that I lost rod bearing in Thanks Dale

on the carb side of the engine bellhousing the serial will be stamped and correct if block is original will start with DC cnt

Ok I found the numbers on motor they start out with DC 8027675 APCC these were found on engine Web

With a foot clutch I belive they were only in late 53 and 54.

Don't know what the question is, but the DC4 had cast wheels to add weight to the front end. It has a short wheelbase, so the weight is needed to keep the front end on the ground.

We had the rods bearings go out on out DC4 too, but it was because of a bad barrel of oil from Standard oil company. The oil had some kind of fiber floating in it that plugged the oil screen. Standard oil denied any responsiblity for it, so we dropped Standard Oil and haven't given them any business in the last 55 years.
