well the old joke was (bet you heard it)was a farmer asked his neighbor what he put on his strawberrys, and the fellow said Horse manure. The fellow that asked the question replied " we put cream and sugar on ours"Well we don't grow strawberrys but this really pushes up the plants. 7 -1 ton loads today. cant wait til it gets made into compost. Biggest potato so far was 1 foot long. Beats cream and sugar, LOU

Lou,
A one ton dump truck. Very handy. I sold off my bigger truck, Kodiak 6500 w/CAT. Picked up a nice older Chevy one ton. Easy to tuck into a tight spot. Tires, brakes, etc. much cheaper to service.

With you on the joke, always heard it as "whipped cream"

Larry: Havn't dug em yet. Still working on the spuds. Gave about 450 lbs away,still have 3 rows about 60 feet long yet to go. whew!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SIL came today and got another 150 lbs . Great bounty . Hows your garden going. Are you finished with all the produce,caned etc?Been a great year for our garden. Did a lot of watering but it was worth it all. Regards LOU.
