Does anyone in know anything about the aforementioned company, they have a skid loader I might be interested in? I don't want to drive 150 miles only to find out they are a shady dealer.
Thanks Nate |

| | The are great people to deal with. Honest as the day is long!!!! If something is wrong they will make it right. I have never had any problems with them and don't hear many complaints either. They are on the west side of Farley right south of Rt 20. If you are there you should stop at Dyersville and eat at the Country Junction. They have very good food. it is only 5-6 miles west on 20. |

| Here is some information about them.
"The History Of J.P. Scherrman, Inc." Founded in 1919 by Joseph Scherrman and Charlie Kay, the company originally provided the area with a small repair shop. In the 1920s and 1930s the business started a hardware store and sold small engines. The engines were used to power 32 volt generators for local farms.
In the 1940s, the company became an International Harvester equipment dealer. Also, after The Rural Electrification Administration provided electricity to rural America, the company connected area farms to electricity and wired their homes.
In 1945 Joseph's brother, John P. Scherrman, purchased the business and incorporated the company. During the following years the company sold various products and services; appliances, televisions, hardware, farm implements, wrecker service, heating, plumbing, even gasoline sales was a part of the business.
Through the years the company lost the International Harvester and Chevrolet dealerships and decided that appliances along with plumbing and heating were no longer profitable.
Currently J. P. Scherrman, Inc. carries the following product lines: Bobcat, Kuhn Knight, Kubota, Exmark and Supreme, along with service, parts and rental departments. The business personnel consists of eight full time employees including third and fourth generation Scherrman family members. |
